Tommasi

“Project 1997”for Tommasi Viticoltori  refers to a major investment program begun in 1997 and dedicated to the acquisition of lands best suited for wine grapes, particularly in the zone most representative of the historic Valpolicella and in Tuscany.

The family owns exceptionally well situated estates for the production of high quality wines in the D.O.C. regions (a total of 40ha )
of Bardolino, Custoza, Soave and Lugana.

Above all else, Tommasi is principally acclaimed for its incomparable red wines of the Valpolicella Classico region ( a total of 95ha ):
Amarone Classico, Valpolicella Classico Superiore, and Recioto della Valpolicella, whose characteristics make them unique in the world.
The most important and prestigious wine of Valpolicella is the stately “Amarone”, which is, without doubt, one of the great wines of the world.
Tommasi has specialized in the production of this “Divine Nectar” for decades, and has deservedly become one of its principal ambassadors to the world.
